Lumentum Integrated Coherent TROSA, 32 Gbaud Symbol Rate ICR ICT CT6100

Lumentum ICT is a C-band (196.1 to 191.15 GHz) flexible tunable transmitter gold box, developed for analog and digital module integration or line card development to make energy.
The transmitter consists of a full-band narrow linewidth DSDBR tunable laser and a dual Cartesian Mach-Zehnder modulator, prepared on indium phosphide (InP) and encapsulated with polarization multiplexer and coupling optics in a completely sealed package.
A single InP laser source with integrated SOA derives local oscillator and Mach-zender emits local oscillator (LO) power.
The monolithically integrated SOA is integrated on the input and output arms of the modulator, balancing power on each input polarization and adjusting the overall transmit power.
Output shutdown is enabled via a separate output VOA. This allows the LO to be maintained as needed for certain application configurations.
